We need to start to find our transportation from MCO to our WDW resort which has a 30 minute food store stop.

FL Tours is the sponsor of this board - so we may try them.
We fly JetBlue, if that makes a difference.
We have 4 suitcases and 4 small carry-ons (back packs, thinkpad, camera case).

Now - for those who have used FL Tours in the last 3 month -
Please tell me the Good, the Bad. and the Ugly about FL Tours.

Thanks for all and any opinions, :goodvibes

I would like to reserve a town car service by Feb 2012.

I have used FL Tours several times. The first time was on Thanksgiving Day, about 7 years ago. I had asked repeatedly if I would be able to make a grocery stop, what with it being Thanksgiving Day. I was told, about 4 times, that it wouldn't be an issue, especially since we were arriving at 10:30am.
Well, we got to the car, and asked the driver which store he was planning on stopping at. He told us that he wasn't stopping since it was a holiday and no stores were open!!! Seriously?? After I had asked four times??? I told the driver that a 7/11 convenience store would be fine. Nope, nothing open!! I was not a happy camper.
Dh had to go in search of the driver at the airport. We had our luggage in hand, looking for the driver. Well...it turns out that he was outside having a smoke!! Then, when we were leaving BWV, dh had to go, yet again, in search of our car. We got out to the entrance about 5 mins before our pickup time.....we waited and waited. After about 20 mins, I called the office. I was told that the driver had been dispatched already and should be there. Well, valet noticed our distress and started looking around. They saw a towncar, sitting way down by the bus stop. THe driver was leaning against the car, having a smoke!!! Yep, our car.

I have used FL Tours and had good experiences though....those less that stellar happening all involved one driver. I have used them since then with very good results. I use DME pretty much all the time now, so I don't have any really recent experiences.

Hi! We have used Fl Tours & Tiffany Towncars several times. I had preferred Fl Tous because of their Disboards sponsorship. Therir cars are very clean & the drivers friendly. We do not request a grocery stop so I can't comment on that. However, the last several times we have had to look for the driver or wait a few minutes for them to show up. Just a short time, but 5- 10 minutes after collecting our luggage before we saw the driver. Now we are always in the first few rows on the plane & we are just 2 adults, so I put this on that we were just quicker to the luggage pick up than most.

In Sept I booked with Tiffany Towncars for the first time in about 5 years. Main reason was because Fl Tours had a "fuel surcharge" which made them about $27 higher than Tiffany. We were very pleased! Driver was actually waiting at baggage claim as we got off the staircase & the car was cleaner than we had remembered them from years past. At pickup, the driver was again early & waiting outside GF with our name on a sign, no guessing if that was our ride.

I would book either of these again, probably going with the most cost effective one. I like to patronize a board sponsor, but not if it costs 20% more. Have a great vacation!

And that is my issue....the drivers are supposed to meet you at the bottom of the stairs/escalators. That shouldn't come as a surprise!!! They should be there to help you at baggage claim. They can track your flights so they know full well when you have landed and can plan accordingly.

Tiffany Towncar all the way. We used them in November and the service was spectacular. Driver was waiting for us at the luggage pickup. she got our luggage and off to the car. She was even early for out pick-up at hotel when we were leaving. I will use them again.

Thank you - we may avoid FL Tours and do Tifffany.
I also found a discount code for Happy Limo, but they only do a 15 min food store stop and DH wabts 30 mins to find water, snacks, fruit & cereal, and be able to stand in line to pay for it, before time is up.
