How many rooms may a Florida resident book when using a discount resident code? My parents are book Fl residents. thanks

I am not sure of the number of rooms they can book but they must be there to check in and show ID.

Yes I know they must show ID. They are going to WDW and would like to pay for our family. I am a native Floridian as well as my whole family...I am the only one that lives outside the sunshine state now. My dad would be paying for our resort room as well as his and my mothers. I was wondering how many rooms he can book? I know Ap holders can book more than one room....thanks

For some reason the number 3 sticks in mind, but I'm not sure. We booked 2 cabins at FW in Feb and I thought the CM said up to 3 rooms at the FL resident discount.

You are right jwfla422, when I spoke to a CM back in April he told me a Florida resident can book up to 3 rooms on one reservation. Also, they must check in and show id. My brother is a FL resident and booked us 3 rooms for the end of August (8/25 - 9/1)...just waiting for the FL resident rate code to come out so he can apply a discount!!!! I know there is a code out for FL residents who book with the Disney Visa card for that time period, but no discount without the Visa card. Still waiting....

DH made FL RES rate ressie at POR from Aug 23 - Sept 2. He just called and asked if there was one and they said yes, here is the rate. So I suggest you call and just ask you really don't need a code just ask for it.

We have really never waited for a code for the FL RES rate or for the ANN PASS rate just called and asked if there was one if there was great if not, sometimes they'd give us an idea when it might, we would just make the ressies and keep calling until they came out.

It's funny, I just called CRO after reading your post to see about FL resident rates for the time we are booked (8/25 - 9/1). The CM I spoke with said there were no FL resident rates out yet for that time period without using the Disney Visa card. She had no idea if and when FL residents rates would come out. Oh well, I'll keep trying.

There were other FL resident rates that work if your start date is Aug 23rd or earlier, those have been out for months. The ones after the 23rd until 10/01 are the FL Visa rates.

I strongly suggest subscribing to mousesavers.com. You won't have to keep calling to find out what discounts are available. It's so much easier to just call CRO after finding out the codes on mousesavers.com because that's what CRO really needs anyway. (even for FL resident discounts-although you can of course ask if there are FL resident discounts available but mousesavers.com just saves that step).

Of course you can book prior to the discounts being available at the regular rate or another semi discounted rate. If the dates are available with the FL resident discount as it gets closer they will credit you.
