Fl Res rate cheaper than Ap rate

I just booked POP march and the Ap rate was 80 per night the fl resident rate was only 79 per night. is this typical?? I thought the Ap would open up a magical door of discounts.. Oh well... I'm still going to disney!!!!!!

it depends on the time of year. we'll see an ad on TV or in the paper that sometimes beats our AP rate.

Also sometimes the AP will show availability and the FL Res won't on certain rooms- and vice versa! That's when it's really nice to have both the AP AND be a FL Res!

the ap rate is $74 from April to June 3...
