Hi, We'll be going as a family of 4, with 1 kid old enough for FJ, and one too small... How do we handle that? Do I wait with daughter, can she walk thru and see and just skip the ride?

All walk thru together. Tell the ride worker you'll be doing child swap they'll give you a slip of paper and direct you. Older kid and one adult ride while you and younger child are taken to wait in a room off to the side. You'll sit and wait for the others to ride (while watching a HP movie). After they've ridden, you and the older child will be able to ride right away again.
We did this on all the rides my two year old couldn't do that my six year old could. Including: transformers, Spider-Man, ET, Men in Black, Gringotts. Also did it on Forbidden Journey and Mummy, when neither of the kids could ride. We took turns sitting with both kiddos.
It's handled really well, and the kids that are tall enough get to ride twice, with waiting only once!
Excellent!!! Thank you so much. My 5 year old will be about 42", so this will only an issue a few times, but this is great. So much better than Disney where she is just left sitting and looking at the line...
