Fixing Inferno?

Hey everyone! :wizard:

I hope everyones Thanksgiving was great! I was wondering has anyone heard any news on when the one time use Dancing Inferno Magic Pin we all have will be turned into the one star unlimited use Dancing Inferno Magic Pin that we are all suppose to get? It has been a couple days, and was just wondering if anyone ran into staff and asked them for a update? :coffee:

1) Inferno released as a Disney Movie Reward program for 650 points

2) Received my Infero code

3) Logged into VMK to find out that codes aren't working

4) Wrote in twice to contact link on bottom of VMK main page

5) Code goes through in VMK and works 2 days later; however, it is giving the wrong prize. It is giving on time use Inferno intstead of the one star unlimited use we are suppose to get.

6) Talked to Host_Hula, and was told to write into contact again that they are aware of the situation.

7) The Inferno is still a one time use pin, and the problem still has not been fixed. I hope they didn't forget. Seeing that one time use inferno in my inventory sitting there makes it so tempting to want to have Inferno so I can use it. :sad1:
 
Is it possilble that maybe they only wanted to release one time use only? If so they should probably change the DMR's reward page and maybe lower the rewards points or it could be just an error.
 

Phinny said last night to use Contact Us and report the problem.

I don't think they meant it to be a one time use Inferno. If that was the case, then I seriously doubt that people would be willing to spend $140 just to get it.



I hope they get it fixed. I entered my code last night and got the 1 time use. I was so disappointed. I've been wanting this magic for more than 2 years. :sad2:

On that note, they still haven't given me my Princess Hat back yet. And that's been over a month.

The Host's and Staff that I have ran into do not know anything at the moment and the only thing they can do is advise you to send an explaination and the code you entered into the Contact Us. My guess is that they will need to review what happened and especially with those of us that have the Single-Use Inferno at the moment.
 
One question though. Has there ever been a 1 time use inferno in the game before this?

I do in someway agree we can all say vmk is slow at points but usually when something is not right or the way it should vmk does respond rather quickly

But I do believe that the person who put it up as a prize might have accidentally selected 1 time use instead of unlimited. This person might have been in the DMR department and didn't know the virtual item execpt for the word inferno to this person they might have both meant the same things and vmk is trying to now correct what this person did

This is just my 2 cents
 
Also remember that this is a holiday weekend, which means that they might be a little slower to get it taken care of. :)
 
they responded quickly to try and fix it and it broke LOL. All the codes are broken. Whatever is wrong is a big deal, patience young grasshoppers ;)
 
My code did not work when I first tried it on Wednesday. I sent messages all over the place and of course have heard nothing.

I haven't tried it since, should I just sit on the code until I hear that the problem has been fixed? Should I enter it even though I might get a single use inferno so they can see that I was at least supposed to have it?

Suggestions?
 
As Lily explained to those of us in the Ask the Host room at the time, since the "down time" last week, all codes have been, I believe her exact word was, "laming."

I do know that ppl have successfully been entering Sparrow codes, but I guess many of the other system codes are not working, particularly those connected to DMR as I have friends that did not receive their red stitch when entering the code.

According to the person I spoke with at DMR, the error is on the side of the team that works with VMK. According to the woman I spoke with at Disney on-line gaming, there is no phone support for VMK as it is a free game and if I am concerned about my real money virtual item, I need to use the Contact Us link. According to Contact Us, they have received my correspondence and will address my issue. According to Lily, they are working to fix the problem and if I sent my VMK player title and code to contact us, it will be taken care of.

When I saw Lily today on the rides, I opted for, "Beautiful room, Lily!" instead of asking about my inferno.

Whether the error is on the page that reads, "Unlimited use" or if it is on the prize that is being issued, I guess we have to wait and see. However, I am in the group that received nothing and just needs to continue being patient. I am trying, but imho, a prize that you spend $150 real-life money on to received from a multi-billion dollar company really should work.

I traded for some ship codes from a very reliable person, and they dont work. I believe a big portion if not all of their code engine is being effected by whatever is happening.

Yes, and a VIRTUAL prize, no less. This needs to be taken care of fast. I have a younger player on my friends list that was in tears over the code not working. She also got the 1 time use a couple of days ago. Her parents are not really knowledgeable aboout VMK so they can't understand why she is so upset. I'd love to direct her and her parents over here, but that would be going against values. Please fix this problem soon, VMK.

Agreed. I don't know how the codes work well enough to know about the "code engine" but from what Lily said during "Ask the Host" many codes are not working, not just the DMR codes and they are working to fix it.
