Fix the DVC website!

How long before DVC finally fixes the website?

(I know I own resale, but I am trying to book my home resort!)

Got to the final stage this morning, then the dwarves!

Tried again and got the same result!

Also, why does the calendar pop up blank when trying to book?!?

Before I bought DVC, I liked the dwarves!

And why does it take a few clicks before you can return to your dashboard?

Why, when on my phone does it ask me to re-log in every time I try to return to my dashboard?

Why can't you filter your resort choices when using the RAT at the bottom of the page on my dashboard?

Why can't I borrow my own points from my own 50% bank of points in the next year if I have a resale contract?

I could go on...
 

I am so sorry...today its working for me. That is the frustrating part....it doesn't work consistently.
 
And time is almost always of the essence. Split second decisions often need to be made that can be quite costly if errors, inconsistencies and missed opportunities are to blame.
 
I was able to do my daily walk today, but boy does this website not like going for a walk with me!

I've taken the website survey four times now, and it doesn't seem to have helped LOL.

It's not like they don't already know the website has problems LOL. I would be surprised if they even read the surveys.

FWIW, I think the website only works consistently well for those who have one Membership containing only direct points. I don't think that is by design, but rather by plain, old ordinary incompetence. And marketing people (rule makers) who have no idea how the software works (and don't care). Doubt they bother to even talk to the people who do. JMHO. YMMV.
 
Remember when it went down for a full week -- a website down in 2021 for five consecutive days -- and nothing was fixed in regards to its functionality? Incompetence at the highest level.

To be fair, It was only down for two full days and part of another. But, it after, the reports said it was not to fix or update, but to migrate.

I agree that it seems to have a lot more issue now. Prior to Covid, I never had the issues I now have…while not a lot, it still shows up a lot more often than it used to and it is frustrating as to why.
 
I have been trying to accomplish two things on the DVC website, move a reservation and look at and print my 2022 dues statement. Accomplishing these items should take a few minutes, not hours. I have spent hours over three days on this and have been frustrated with a web site that either stops entry or lets you get finished to some degree and then stops functioning. At that point you again must start over. I've had mouse freezes twice, a frozen web browser once and a gremlin eating my web pages three times. I've tried on my laptop, my desktop, my iPhone and iPad. I've had seven dwarfs and flying suitcases telling me to be patient and hold on and never letting me in and I've had several survey interventions, which out of mercy, I did not accept until I finally did accomplish something. How can a major Company have such a broken system without making some statement to its clients? First the phones are too busy, so we're told to use the website, then you can't get on the web site. Since becoming a member in 2017, I've never seen things this bad. If I was the executive running this business, I'd be taking calls myself until the problems were solved. It simply cannot go on like this.
 
This morning it is still hard to get into the site. Hope they fix it soon.

I’m surprised guides aren’t using this in their sales pitch. “You can actually borrow points without being on the phone for hours and praying your room is still there when the call is answered!”
 
I tried paying dues this morning. I have a red triangle saying a field needs attention. What else should I have to do other than select what I want to pay and give them my money? I’ve gotten two surveys while trying to do this over the last two days and I’ve provided my honest thoughts. Lucky for them it was limited to 500 characters.

After several attempts a few minutes ago, I'm constantly getting the red triangle. All of the fields are filled out correctly, hit submit, and then I get an error message.
 
I do love that I keep getting the survey. Every time I get it, I say the same thing... fix the borrowing glitch. Then I rank most things on the site as poor. If the website is barely working, maybe they should turn off the useless survey.
 
I filled out a two surveys yesterday. I believe they print them off and put them in the shredder LOL! :badpc: Nobody reads them...
