Fit in February Exercise Challenge!

More Gym and Physical Therapy for me again yesterday. Plenty of time on the bike, and leg press. Felt it all last night! Adding 120 more minutes for yesterday and today. 3 degrees here. Stay warm everyone.

Updated! Looks like everyone's keeping on track despite the depressing frigid temps (for most of us). Tomorrow we are 75% of the way through the month. We have 2 Grey Go-Getters so far! :banana: I hope we all join them by the end of the weekend. I'm feeling quite a bit burnt out and sore, but going to do some yoga and an easy run anyhow to try to loosen up and keep adding minutes. :)

Jeez I have not been updating like I should! I spent 30 minutes a day the past 2 weeks walking/running.

And of course my yoga classes at 60 min each. (Only 2)

Adding 60 minutes for today (30 strength and stretching, 30 running) for 620/840. Had I known 10 more minutes would have pushed me to the 75% I would have done that! Oh well, tomorrow.

It's snowing and snowing and snowing and snowing....

Anyone want to host march? Hopefully it will be a beautiful weather month and the start of spring!
 
so today I drove to go snowshoeing up a mountain and realized when I got there that one of my shoes is broken. But I came up with a plan B. One of the trails to the summit was a snomobile trail so it was well packed. I went up the mountain, down the mountain, back up the mountain and one more trip back down. I fit in some running intervals. It was great!

I did a fitbit steps challenge with a group of my friends and so I spent a lot of the past few days running/jogging
On Wednesday I walked for a total of 90 minutes (40 of that on a treadmill and 50 of that on an indoor trail later in the day). I got 20,308 steps for the day.
On Thursday I spent 60 minutes walking and got 15,449 steps for the day
Friday 180 minutes walking and jogging as well as 20 minutes doing strength training (arms and shoulders) and I got 26,088 steps (my new personal best)!
Today I took it easier and didn't do much. I did get 10,483 steps in so far but that was mostly from helping tear down after my kids' chess tournament today.

So, I have surpassed my goal! I have learned that I can be pretty competitive- both against myself (I like to break my own records) and against others and this week definitely has shown me how I can use that to my advantage health-wise.

800/1000. Took yesterday off, added 55 mins of cardio today. I have a hard time taking days off from exercising, my brain feels guilty even though I fully know my body needs it.
 
1047/1500 Hmmm hope I make it this month! It'll be close.

Did the long car drive last Saturday, but didn't walk when we arrived just because we got there later than anticipated. Didn't help that I must have gotten some bad gas because I drove the last 100 miles with the check engine light flashing and the car shuddering. :scared:It was the middle of nowhere so just decided to keep going! :drive:That and I was afraid if I stopped I might not be able to get going again, like I said: middle of nowhere. :rolleyes1 It started up the next morning and was fine and dandy after I put some premium gas in it. DH and I went for a walk in the park the next day. :sunny:

Final week. We can do it! :yay:
 
60 minutes walking and 60 minutes running brings me to 780/840
