Fishlips question

We were thinking of trying Fishlips after a day at Kennedy and the night before our cruise. I was hoping someone here can answer a few questions.

First, are reservations recommended? There are 4 of us, so not a big party.

Also, with or without a reservation, what sort of wait times do they often have around 5pm on a Thursday or Friday around spring break?

What is parking like there? Is it easy to find parking or is there a valet?

We've gone to Fishlips a couple of times without reservations after a day at the beach. Never had a problem. We were seated inside. The patio bar upstairs gets very busy. There are lots of windows and you can still see the cruise ships leaving port from inside.

I've been the week before Easter at around 5pm and we could have had our pick of tables.I think the deck/outside bar was busier as the evening progressed.

this is a 'beach bar' ... plastic cups of beer

no reservations (they will take ressie for large parties - 12 or more) ... no valet parking

I'd recommend going there Friday around 4 and you'll be able to watch the Dream sail out. Goes right by Fishlips. Really cool. No reservations needed.

Thanks, all. I've been to a few places in Orlando and in New Smyrna Beach that have crazy line ups early, so I was worried this would be like that.
