We should be arriving at WDW around 1230pm, and don't have passes for that day. We have dinner at 530pm at 1900 Park Fare. Dh would like to do a little bit of fishing. Obviously he doesn't have time to do a boat expedition, and i don't really want to pay $150 for him to have 3 hrs of fishing. Any other options available??

You can fish at Fort Wilderness. Come over to the camping form for more info. I dont fish there but they had a thread about it awhile back.

Port Orleans Riverside has cane pole fishing. We went over there one afternoon, and one guy was fishing with a regular rod. Also, my husband has gone fishing a couple of times at Pop Century. Not off the bridge (you're not allowed), but walked around the lake. I went to the food court there and sat by the pool and relaxed while he went fishing.
have fun!
