Fishing at HHI resort?

My dh wants to know if you can fish in the marsh at the resort? I read you can crab but are there places to fish?

You definitely can fish at the end of the peer. They rent poles (I wanna say $5 a day for members, but not positive of price) and sell bait. Only thing is, I have seen many people fishing during the two times I was there, but have never seen anyone who caught anything. Maybe was bad time of year (March), not sure. Every time I asked anybody if they caught anything, they all responded the same way - "No, but we just got here." So obviously, I can't tell you if the fishing is good or not.

Also, I know that you can fish over on the right of the Main Lodge (I don't know what it's really called, but I call it the inlet). I've seen both locals and guests fishing there, sometimes out in boats, but often from the shore. Just be careful what you catch-I've also seen dolphins in there!
