Fishing at Disney

Can anyone recommend the best place to take the kids fishing while we are there? I think I read that Riverside has fishing. Does any place else have fishing. Do you need to bring your own rods or can they be rented?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

There is cane pole fishing at Riverside. You rent the poles by the hour. According to the captain of the boat we were on, they stock the river full of fresh water fish. She recommended that we just save little bits of bread/pizza crust etc. and go down to the dock or rivers edge and toss it in and see how many fish are in there.
I didn't see anyone actually fishing when we were there.

There is also a fishing hole at POR. My husband took our older kids when they were little and they loved it. You can rent your pole there. He plans on taking our youngest son this trip. He actually takes them when they open, this way he's back in time to head out to the parks in the morning.
