Moving on, Todd, I like the mock up, but suggest longer pockets. Just my opinion. I feel it will better conceal if something is inside and a person with sticky fingers walks by.

I may end up doing that. And I may be shrinking down to two pockets. Not sure yet.

I'm sorry, you must have mis-heard the party deck is #7. Deck 6 is just going to try to party and have a good time like the real party Deck 7....

Um, since not everyone had the opportunity to be on Deck #7, I do not believe it is legal for you to name yours the party deck, when Deck #6 will be the REAL party deck. (Just in case not, though, I have begged permission to be allowed on the real party deck #7).

And, I love your fish extender. Could I possibly have your paper copy, because I have no creative skills whatsoever?????

I think Lori was going to help me with my FE, but now that my mom has her embroidery machine, I think mom wants to do it!

I haven't even looked at fabric yet. No clue what I want on it. I'll think about it once we get through our homestudy renewal stuff for the adoption!

so sorry you have to do a homestudy renewal Hope they don't charge you too much, my girlfriend is also waiting DTC 7/2006 her homestudy agency charged her a rediculous amount to say nothing has changed- makes me mad!

I wish I could get an embroidery machine, but as I'd prob only use it for my FE DH wouldn't appreciate it

And I'd love to get Disney fabric - I could spend hours in Joann Fabrics - you can't find it anywhere except over-priced on E-bay

Ive seen lots of disney fabric at Jo Anne's- as well as Wal mart!

Well in the turmoil of the giveaway...I would like to post something kinda bright and cheerful. Any criticism (other than the color scheme) will be welcomed! {This is just a paper mock-up. The real one will be fabric and be decorated.}

Since I am not a seamstress nor a tailor, I am trying to look for alternative methods of attachment. The colored edges are meant to represent some sort of edge finisher...I know fabric can run at times. FrayStop works alright on my kilt, but I don't know about the FE.

Thanks! And yes...the homestudy is similar to what Monica and Chandler had to go through...but for real life. This is nothing really. We have to update a few forms and she just has to make sure that we aren't living in cardboard boxes on the side of the road.

Our agency used to do our yearly updates for free, but now that the wait has lengthened to an insane amount of time and the new Hague Convention rules, they have to physically come out to our house now. Joy. At least that means my house gets cleaned twice a year...once at Christmas and once for the social worker's visit.

This is excellent advice that I wish I'd followed. I followed the directions over on the fe thread and now that I'm almost done, I feel like the pockets are too small. I am not crafty so I don't think I'll go through the headache of making a new one. BTW my pockets are 5 1/2 inches deep.
