After our Mission Space experience, we move on to TT. I still am not feeling up to PAR, but DS who doesn't ride much really wants to ride this. There is only a 20 minute standby wait. (It had been 90 minutes earlier in the day). We ride and all of the kids loved it. The sky is looking ominous but we really wanted to at least see the American Adventure movie in the world. We know sadly that we probably won't see the world this trip. We decide to leave as it is so hot and everyone is looking droopy and melted. We buy cool drinks for all and hustle for the bus stop.
Sky is getting darker and darker.
Get to the bus stops. Where in the world is bus stop 12 to POR?
Now, I am not really moron, maybe I was just too addled from MS? We could not find the bus stop. Starts to pour and we make it to Key west bus stop to put on ponchos. We are talking drenching downpour. When Key West bus drive pulls up, he points me in right direction. Of course, it is on the complete other side! Kids have fun jumping in puddles. It actually feels quite good since it was so hot.
Back at POR, we decide to eat in the food court. Taco salads were yummy and kids could get their "usual" chicken nuggets, mac and cheese. The chicken quesadilla was good also.
Matt (10) is looking not well. He lays on the booth seat while we eat. Too much Mission Space, I wonder???
Aha, look at that! The sun is out and it is beautiful and hot again!
We decide to stay home tonight and visit the quiet pool between Acadian House and Magnolia Terrace. (Old Man Island was extremely crowded: bring your own water to swim in
)
Sue does laundry (even some of mine
) while I swim with the kids. There are a handful of people there. My DS thinks we are not allowed to talk here because it is the "Quiet" pool.
Laundry is $2.00 load and Sue says that dryers fully dry your load at one time.
We go to bed happy that we have one more day of magic.
We want to get up early for AK tomorrow! Then finish the night in MK and see the fireworks before we leave!
