So sad! This is the first year since 1999 that I won't be going to WDW. How do I cope!:confused3

Surfing on DISboards... :lmao:
no really, that's how I do it.... :grouphug:

Same for me. I'm in point debt and had to catch up eventualy just happened to be this year.

We have been watching YouTube rides from Disneyland/world and playing the Xbox game. Going through old pics and receipts (yes, we keep all of our receipts). Fun trying to recall each meal and store visit. Strange how a receipt can spark a memory so easily of things you would never remember otherwise.

Plan your next trip in completely different versions. One for relaxation, one for getting the most done or a complete luxury splurge or an everything new trip (resort, foods, tours etc).

Is there anyway you can start making the plans for next year? Booking now at your home resort will get you there in July '13.

We went 3 times in 10 months last year, and it was great. But because of the points involved we had to skip 13 months before we go back in November this year.

Good luck and stay strong!

I am in month 12 of a 19 month no Disney stretch.. it has been tough. Had a beautiful baby in March, well worth waiting for the immunization shots to kick in and keep her safer.

I go to Dis a bunch, listen to bunches of Disney CDs, and I have priced out a few trip and try to focus on how much $$ I am saving.... I also try really hard to think of all the people who have never been, or focus on being thankful for all the times I have gone over the past 5 yrs. .. and how many more times that is than some people will ever go in their whole life. It was arder months 4-8, it is a bit easier now, due to the weather being nicer, and almost at my 7 month window!!! (In my instance it is also that I am possibly saving my baby from whopping cough, or chicken pox too.)

Now my March trip is booked, air fare and APs are paid and done... only need good price on a rental care, and ADRs. and am more excited than I have been in a while.

That will be us next year.

So I added 4 days to our tip this year, without him. It's starting out girls only. And trying to talk him into an adult only trip in November.

Maybe it won't make you feel better but I love reading trip reports with photos. Do you have DVDs photos CDs or photo albums with pictures of your previous trips? Maybe reliving them would help. Here's hoping you will be in countdown mode for another trip soon!

We brought our kids to WDW every 3 years when they were growing up and those skipped years never bothered us. I think it's the DVC that makes it harder. Best wishes. I do think that planning and remembering will help!

You will live ... trust me... we skipped about twice since '71 (yea really) ... and we got over it. :lmao: It makes it all the better when you go back.

Oh..ps...my brother is West Windsor NJ!!! Cool.
