first week of May?

We will be staying at WDW from May 2nd thru May 10th. We would like to plan a visit to US/IOA for a day that week. How busy is that week? What day of the week would be best? Should we purchase express pass?

You should be fine w/o the Express passes as the crowds are fairly light during the week. You might want to go either Monday or Tuesday but any week day should be fine.

Yes April/May are usually great months to go ...we're also headed down to Florida this coming Tuesday!

Just to let you know...the weather should be perfect this week. Low to mid 80's during the day and mid 60's at night...a slight chance of rain in the forecast for Wednesday and Thursday!

We always go the first week of May. It can be crowded in that it is a very popular time for large school groups to go. Most of them don't have express passes. Some of them do. Avoid days later in the week, for sure. Tuesday should be a good day for you to go. Have a good time.
