First week of June - a Problem for Families?

Hi. I'm not making any judgements, but what is the "special events" schedule for June? We are scheduled to arrive on June 6 for a week. Will these "special" things still be happening? My kids are 5 & 7. Anyone know about this?

You won't even notice anything "special"
We went June 02 with 4 & 7 yr olds and didn't even know a "special" event was going on at the time.

The biggest problem was the heat - just don't forget to bring a "squeeze breeze" to cool down in line.

Many people say that it is okay, except for the fact that it may be more crowded. You can check their web-sites to see which days they are doing which parks in an effort to avoid the crowds. But note, many school districts in the north, and our area, are not even out of school at that time, which should help somewhat with the crowds.

Thanks The heat will probably be the biggest problem. Last time we went was in Aug for my sisters wedding. Talk about HOT

Are you referring to Gay Days? As long as you check out their site at gaydays.com you can plan your schedule to avoid any crowds and any questions from your kids.

If you're arriving June 6th, most of the "special events" will be over by then.
