First week of January

My extended family is trying to coordinate a trip to Universal. Ages ranges from 13-45 so there are a lot of work, school and sports schedules to try to work around. We’ve taken several trips to Disney World but now that everyone is older it’s time to try Universal. I know that Christmas-New Years is the busiest time of the year. Has anyone been Jan 2-4? That looks like our best bet but I’m wondering if we will regret it.

Right around the Christmas and New Year holidays, I would count on Universal being just as crowded as Disney. Everyone is still on school break that week.

Depending on when Epic Universe opens next year, you might possibly get a break with people delaying their Winter Christmas trip in favor of a spring trip that will include Epic Universe.

ETA: we should know Epic opening dates in a month or so.
