First Week of December at the Poly!!!

I actually have friends that went to Disney for the first time this year (2 different families). I became their best friend when I started sharing plans and tips to make their trips good. They didn't even know they needed ADR's. They told me I needed to make planning for Disney a career. Too bad that won't pay my bills and especially pay for my trips to the world. I love to plan and share Disney.

Me too!!! It's how I get my fix!

Just dropping by for my monthly ritual ... our ticker now starts with a big, beautiful 1!! (as per usual the other 29 days are incidental ... ) ... or 61 days (by the widget) 'til Poly, 60 to our evening pre-trip arrival at Pop.

I'm actually starting to get that pre-trip anxiety ... must update lists (can't forget anything), have to get t-shirts made etc. I do have the girls' autograph books done, so I am making some progress. I think for me the pre-trip stuff is half the fun!

Me, too! I knew as soon as we started working on stuff for the trip, the "deadline" would quickly approach. We should have started working on them earlier, I guess...like when we were suffering through the summer!

I have a Disney folder with about 5 playlists on my iPod. Good music to run to. Sends my mind to my happy place despite the sheer agony I might be in.

Just started working out again ('cause I'm pretty much a blob after lazing around the pool this summer...not that I was a super model beforehand...), and I workout while I watch our WDW videos or listen to DTunes. DEFINITELY some good motivation. Gotta look good in those hundreds and hundreds of vaca pics!!

62 days, 22 hours, and 30 mins until our plane departs for Disney! Just checked my cell phone counter. I am so, so excited to be returning to the Polynesian and WDW! My 2 favorite places! We arrive Nov 30th. What a happy day that will be!

When I booted my computer this morning, my Disney Trip Widget says

59 Days and 22 Hours until my trip.

I love it when that ticker moves down another 10 days.

I can't do park music all the time - especially if we don't have a trip planned. Now that we're 2 months out I'm ready to listen 24/7!

59 Days and 22 Hours until my trip.

I love it when that ticker moves down another 10 days.

Howdy all! I have been MIA for about a week. I sort of went through a mini depression because I want to go to WDW now! Well I am now over it, since a friend went recently and is sharing her experience with me.

It hit me this morning that my final payment will occur in October. Once that is done I think it will really feel more 'real' that we will be going.

I have been thinking about changing one of my ADR's. I have one for 4:30 at 50's Prime Time for 4:30. I hope this gives us enough time to eat then go to Fantasmic. We prefer sitting off to the side so I am not worried about where we sit, just more worried about getting there in time before it starts.

Glad you are back! No need to be sad now. Before you know it our vacations will be here.

I hate it when I start second guessing my ADR's. I am in the same boat. I did not buy tickets to MVMCP this year because last year it was so crowded and I didn't enjoy it that much. I am taking my mom and dad this year and my mother is disabled and the crowds really worried me, plus it makes a very late night. Now I am wondering if I should move an ADR and get the tickets so she could see the Christmas parade.

We had 4:30 ADRs at Mama Melrose (it was actually the Fantasmic package), and we had plenty of time to eat, ride ToT a couple of times and make it to Fantasmic. Of course, this was before they reduced the nights. I'd still think you have plenty of time if the seating isn't too important to you.

I will leave it alone then. Seating isn't important to us at all. We found sitting to the side where most people don't sit, was more enjoyable then being crammed in with others who don't always behave while waiting for the show.
