first week of April crowds?

Hello all,

We're considering a short-notice trip the first week of April, probably Monday-Wednesday, 2-4 April. We went two years ago at that time, but Friday-Sunday (weekend before Easter) and found it to be very crowded (eg, 50 minute wait for Pirates or Phantom Manor). Any advice on what the crowds might be like? I'm hoping it will be less busy since it's during the week, but on the other hand, it's closer to Easter, and right at the beginning of the 20th Anniversary celebration.

I appreciate your thoughts!

hi

:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

vacation will already have started for Belgium and I guess some other european countries as well.
French holidays are more spread out and cover the whole month of April.
Expect crowds , but it's never impossible to navigate through and make most of you days.
We did it in Feb, very crowded but we did almost everything without too much queues.

We are going from 1-3 April and I fully expect the 1st to be insane but I'm hoping 2&3 will be OK as from what I can see there is not a single region in France which is on school holiday that week?

OTOH Belgium, Germany and most other European countries (including of course the UK) have school holidays, but I was led to believe that it was the French dates which would have the most significant effect?

It is, that week will be the quietest no doubt in April as schools in zone c which is Paris and surrounding areas don't finish until the 14th and zone b which includes the North of France (next largest lot of visitors after Paris) finish on the 21st.

I don't even think the 1st will be that bad, it's the 12th that should be crazy wild :goodvibes
