Am planning our first trip since becoming DVC members and am wondering what I need. I know about the dishwasher tablets and salt and pepper, anything else? They do trash and tidy on the 4th day, do we need to supply our own trash bags otherwise? Anything else?
Thanks

Dishwashing detergent is supplied. Need more, call.

On the other hand, laundry soap is not supplied. Pack some.

Salt and pepper. Coffee filters (basket type, little small ones, in the studio, bigger ones in the 1 and 2 bedrooms) and coffee. Cream and sugar if you want it.

If you fill up one of the trash bags before they come to pick it up, you can carry it to the trash room. Usually one on each floor or each building. Then you'll find extra bags in the bottom of the trash can. You'll get a green trash can for recycling and another one for ordinary trash.

Plus fabric softener or dryer sheets if you do laundry.

You'll have a small scrubber sponge in the kitchen, a small bottle of dishwashing detergent, either a small box or a packet of dishwasher detergent, an extra roll of paper towels to supplement those on the holder.

If you need foil, saranwrap, baggies, etc, bring your own.

DH is probably crazy, but he insists that we also get a pkg of toilet paper at our grocery stop. (Yes, it's provided, but it's not his preferred brand.)

We also get a roll of paper towels, but we go through a lot of them with small children. I ususally get the coffee that's already packaged in a filter so we don't have to worry about the size, etc.

for asking this question. We just became members a few weeks ago and coming "home" for 1st time this Aug.
I am sure you are excited as we are!

lots & lotsa money
and some laundry tabs, dryer sheets, zip-lock baggies

LMAO!!! My husband is the same way!! His 'deal' though is paper towels!!

The attitude that you'll be going back many, many times and that you don't have to do the parks commando style ever again. Unless you're into that sort of thing.

we always pack a small box with spices and other cooking essentials that we like to have handy. We bring lots of zip locks to store foods in and to pack stuff in for the parks. We always bring our own soap and shampoo/conditioner. Laundry detergent and fabric softener. Maybe a couple rolls of paper towels.

We've always had enough dish soap and dishwasher detergent.
