First try at an itinerary...any input?

We are going Dec. 8th. Me(51), DH63, DS23, DS18 and DD15. We all like thrill rides. anyone see any major flaws here?? Thanks!


Fri.-Arrive Orlando about 9:45, get rental car, and go to Sea World. Check in at POP, and go to DTD to House Of Blues (DS18's choice)

Sat.-MK early, then boat to FW for Hoop dee doo.

Sun.- Pack up, put stuff in trunk of car, and drive to AK (lunch at Rainforest..DD15's choice) Then, check in at BCV. Dinner at Cape May.

Mon.-EPCOT-Candlelight processional dinner-Alfredos

Tue.-Guys do Segway Tour, DD and I do trail ride (DD is one month too young for Segway...poop). This is an open day...maybe Typhoon Lagoon if weather allows.

Wed.-MGM-Sci-Fi dinner

Thurs.-Another open day...will decide when we are there....LeCellier for dinner.

Fri.-Pack up, check out, drive to Whispering Canyon for breakfast. On to Universal!

Sun. Universal-late afternoon flight.

I'd have to concentrate more than Im willing to do today. HOWEVER - Saturday at the MK is a thumbs down, from me. Have you checked the EMH schedule? (is that up yet for December?)

You can just have bell services transfer your things from resort to resort if you have them packed. You don't have to keep them in the car all day.

Overall your plan looks good although I don't know when the MVMCP is, MK will be closing early on those days.

Most of an itnerary depends on the rides and attractions you want to see. I have found that for the big attractions the key is to ride early in the day.

What type of tickets do you have? AP's? There are a couple of days that you seem to maybe only be going into EPCOT for just a tour or dinner. Also, with the tour, the guys need one extra day then you and DD.

Looks like a fun trip.

Can I suggest you use the hotels bell services - they will pick up your luggage and whatever else you have (groceries, etc.) and deliver them to the second hotel for you! You just call them the night before (and again in the am) and tell them you are switching to another Disney hotel and would like your luggage transferred. You have to be there when they pick it up so they can give you receipts, and then while you are out playing in the parks, if your room at BCV becomes available, they will bring your luggage up to your room, and it'll be waiting for you upon check-in!

Other than that your plans sound good, We happen to plan which park, which day and so on, but at least you know where you are eating!

Looks like a fun trip.

We have the 10 day no expire. I think we will be in a park every day, Saturday to Thursday. We have park hoppers, so we can really do what we want when we want. I think we will be in EPCOT alot, since we are staying at the BCV. I think I will be tweaking this itinerary a bit, but I feel good at least having a plan of some sort! I need to make my ADR;s this Saturday!
