First trip to HH...LUV IT!!!

I live right outside HH, " No see ums " can always be a problem, mostly at dawn and dusk that time of year. I put on baby oil while still wet in the shower then dry off. It lasts all day and you don't smell like all the tourists wearing "Skin so Soft". The bugs can't bite through any oil so don't worry what type you use.

There are some great golf specials for people visiting the island, I'll look into the address for the coupon books I see around town.

You can tell it's a Disney resort, but in a very subtle way. They play Disney music by the pool, and the gift shop is right off main street. However, If your not looking for Disney you won't see that much. I think there is a whole list of hidden mickeys, but we will save them for another trip. Everything on HH blends with the surroundings. So much so that you will have a difficult time finding the grocery store. The most Disney we saw was the valentines day flag by the pool that had Mickey and Minnie on it. It is a wonderful resort.....Johnnie

Thanks Johnnie! We are so excited to make our first trip there and I am so looking forward to the leisurely pace. I'm glad to hear there is a touch of Disney. It may be fun for the kids just to see how many ``Disney'' things they spot.

Glad to know you like HHI! We own there, and are going to stay in the 2 BR on July 7 for 5 nights! I am looking forward to it, and am taking my brother and his wife, they have not been to the ocean in 12 years!! So, I am glad to know this. We have stayed at HHI once before, and loved the place so much, we bought there! Lots of golf there, I am planning on playing some golf! As said before, lots of prices of golf, I think I played Indigo RUn golf course, and payed $60 in the summer, but that included range balls, so not too bad of a price in summer.
