First Trip To Disneyworld!

Oh so it's only a 5 day military ticket option? There's no 7 day?

See you might be better off to do the 4/3 just so that you have 7 day tickets.

I could be wrong but I also think that when you have the water park & more options, you can hit a waterpark on an off day and it doesn't count as one of your days for the actual MYW ticket. Maybe? You might want to ask that question here. Someone will know. LOL! So you could do the 5 days at the park and then use your two off days to enjoy, well the waterparks & more. LOL!

Hello from a fellow Military family . I see that you are taking advantage of the military ticket offer but If you stay on WDW Property you could also take advantage of 40% off your room stay for being a military family and then add the dinning to your package . This is what we are doing for our 2009 stay , it turns out to be way cheaper than the 3/4 deal . So what you would do is book your room stay through WDW for the 40% off military discount which the code for that is MYN then ask to add dinning the code for that is EAN for Quick Service & FNB for basic dinning (we prefer basic dinning because we like to do a TS each day of our trip). As far as your tickets , purchase the vouchers ahead of time at the base ticket office so you don't have to pay tax on them and then when you get to Disney you just activate them at the park your first day. There's so many things I can recommend you do for your first trip so here are just a few we love the Hollywood & Vine Restaurant at DHS ,Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary , Akershus Epcot,1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian for dinner and Ohana at the Poly. Some fun things to do and you can't miss is the Spectromagic Parade at MK,The Barber Shop On Main St. in the MK to get your little ones hair done with glitter etc. for more than half of the price of BBB, The Jamin Jungle Parade at AK, don't skip any of the shows there all great , such as the Voyage of the Little Mermaid at DHS . Oh my I could just go on and on about all the great stuff to do . Hope you have a great trip and if you have any other questions about anything I would be glad to help !princess:

Check out three great resources...

The Unofficial Guide to WDW (book)

And two web sites...

allears.net

Even if you just have 5 days of park tickets, I'd still stay at least 7 nights. You could skip the parks on your first and last days or just take a break in the middle of the week to rest, hang out at the resort, and/or check out Downtown Disney. Or you could go to a water park one day (if you plan a water park day, I might even go with 8 nights, even with 5 day park tickets).

Have a great trip!
