First trip to California adventure

Where can I find information about Disney California adventure? Should we get genie?
I feel lost since I’ve never been there.

I love CarsLand. If you can visit, visit during the daytime and the nightime. The theming is some of the best Disney has ever done. It is an impressive and immersive experience. Radiator Springs Racers is an amazing ride.

I mean, this board is a good place to get started with information. Genie is definitely helpful if you want to hit all the rides during the day - moreso depending on the time of the year.

Just FYI you can read here and ask questions, we are talking about both park (Disneyland and DCA) and usually don’t specify which park.
But, half the content on this board is about and/or applies to California adventure. If you read along, you will be well prepared before you go.

Agreed. It is only slightly more expensive to buy Genie+ than it is to buy PhotoPass. Also, PhotoPass photographers are fantastic. Normally, I do not look good in pictures, but the PhotoPass photographers have consistently taken multiple pictures of me where I look wonderful.

There is so much to read about. If you want to do web slingers etc. when to go, etc.
I want to make sure we do as much as possible while we are there.
