First trip out this season... It was cold

Went out for our first camping outing this season. It had been in the 80's most of the week.
Packed up Friday and headed north. Highs in the 40's, but the sun did shine. Ended up coming
home at 8:30 Saturday night. There was a winter storm watch where we were and the possibility of 4 to 8 inches on snow!!!! Didn't think it was worth packing up everything covered in snow, so we headed out. Told the boys just pretend were at FW. Only 7 months to go.

we were headed from the UP to Milw. to Madison for the Midwest Horse Fair. Saw lots of campers and boats headed north on Friday, probably lulled into a false sense of security by the beautiful week we had. Then Sunday, we raced the storm home! Ended up with over 3" of snow Sun into Mon, but, luckily it all melted by Mon noon. We haven't had our motorhome out yet, but hope to soon! Good for you for being so brave so early in the season!

LOL! The weather was so beautiful last week, the we briefly thought of heading north to camp over the weekend too. I'm glad we didn't!! I can't believe how much the weather changed in one day!!

Maybe in a couple of weeks.....
