First trip making reservations...

For our last trip we just played things by ear. This time we wanted to plan a few meals - make reservations.

Unfortunately Cinderella's Castle is booked breakfast, lunch, and dinner for our entire stay. What are the chances we will get a table (for 2)?

Otherwise this is what we booked:
Boma - dinner - were staying in the AKL
Whispering Canyon - dinner
Coral Reef Rest. - lunch
Sci-Fi Dine In - lunch

Any we should avoid or take off the list, or any we should add? I'd like to add one more. We have park hopper tickets, so location doesn't matter too much.

Thanks! It's tough planning where and when you will be in certain areas after not planning where we would be until we got there last time.

Welcome to the DIS!

Unfortunately, your chances for a table at CRT are rather slim. The breakfast usually sells out the day it can be booked, which is 180 days in advance.

But don't give up, keep calling every day, all you need to do is time it so that you call right after someone else cancels!!

Also call when you get there because many people will cancel two or three days before their ADR due to the cancellation penalty which allows you to cancel up to 48 hours before your ADR without a penalty.

Thanks! I knew it would sell out quickly, but didn't think 180 days in advance. I guess I'll have to plan that far ahead for the next trip.

Not sure if this is something that is done all the time but when we called two years ago for CRT for two people there wasn't anything available. The CM said to me, how about a table for three. I said well who is the 3rd person as we only have two in our party and he just said he could book us a table for three for CRT on the night I was asking about. So I took the ADR for three and when we arrived I just told them there was only two of us, no problem. So I guess there must not be that many tables for two there so that is why he offered us a table for three. You could give it a try and see if there is anything available.

For an additional place you could try DTD and go to Fultons or Bongos. Or back to Epcot and go International at Le Cellier or Nine Dragons.

Someone must have cancelled because I was able to get the Castle for breakfast!!! I'm so excited.

Oh definitely keep 50's PTC, its awesome! Congrats on getting CRT.
