Hi

We are just back (me, dh, ds age 3 & mother-in-law) and had a really good time.

Stayed in Hotel New York, it was lovely, staff nice, we had 2 interconnecting rooms. The only thing was breakfast was a bit of a queue at certain times.

Used Ezyshuttle for transfers and they were really good.

Was really impressed by the parks, have been to Florida a few times and was a bit concerned that it wouldn't live up to my expectations but it did.

Highs:

Animagique - great show
Stich Live
Tower of Terror (addicted since first ride in WDW)
Dinner at Cafe Mickey - Brilliant for characters, Goofy sat for ages and did a jigsaw with my wee boy and the food was pretty nice which I didn't expect.
Extra Magic Hours

Lows:

The rain on Wednesday
Lack of places to get a cup of tea or pastry during EMH
A few rude people, guests not staff especially during character meeting...

Toystory playland was well done I thought although the only ride I was on was Slinky Dog which wasn't very exciting but great for small kids, RC Racer was really quite quiet 10 min queues but parachute drop was pretty busy, 30 min plus.

Was disapointed not to get on Crush but the queue was pretty constant at about 60min, except for the rainy day when down to 45min, felt I couldn't really leave my Mother-in -Law with the wee one for that long although I am sure she wouldn't have minded. Did manage a couple of shots on Tower of Terror, Space Mountain, Rock and Roller Coaster and Thunder Mountain though so felt we did okay.

We also went to Buffalo Bills which was good and I found the food to be okay, again I wasn't expecting much, not sure I would do it again next time, pretty pricey but did enjoy it.

We were there Sunday to Thursday and there were a few things we didn't have time to do.

Overall we had a great time and am looking at going back in November with my wee boy and best friend, dh no too happy but he used extra holidays to go off to Greece for a football game...

Welcome back :)

We too got caught up in the rain on Wednesday, it was truly awful. Took some pics as i couldn't believe how bad it was. :rotfl:

Glad you had a great time though.

sounds like a great trip overall. im glad you enjoyed it

Welcome back, it is good to read a positive report and so nice of you to take the MIL.

Welcome back, sounds like you had a lovely trip:goodvibes

Glad you had a great time, by u were lucky for rc racer, DD and I waited in the queue when it said 30min, waited for ten to find it had a technical problem, we left the queue with the majorority of people. 5mins later it was working so tried again, yet again after ten minutes another technical problem but we decided to stick it out as we were leaving Paris 3hours later.
:scared1::scared1: we waited 1hour :confused:

Poppie - saw your photos of the rain - it was mad......

Belle - no slot for breakfast although by the end of our holiday they were giving out cards at check in. Only went twice, once we went back to the hotel after EMH had breakfast in the Manhattan, it was lovely, really quiet and relaxed, loads of food out. The second time we went about 8.45, nightmare, there were queues for both restraunts and the new york bar was serving also. We were sent to the Parkside and didn't wait too long, that was the day I saw all the time slot cards. They had a huge conference on I think so thats what made it so bad.
