Hello - we are a family of 4 (Me, DH & sons 8 & 10) staying at WL the last week of Sept. It is our first trip to Disney!! We have the free DP and booked or ADR's at the 180 day mark - how did I do??

Saturday - checking in at WL and hitting MK for a few hours until our room is ready - dinner at Whispering Canyon @ 7:30pm.
Sunday - DHS and late lunch @ Mama Melrose @ 1:45pm- it was the only reservation I could get with the Fantasmic package.
Monday - not sure which park yet, but dinner at Teppan Edo at 6:10pm
Tuesday - AK - breakfast at Tusker House @ 8am
Wednesday - not sure which park yet - dinner @ Ohana @ 8pm - I know it is late, but I heard we may be able to see the fireworks during dinner!
Thursday - not sure which park yet - dinner @ Chef Mickey's @ 7pm
Friday - not sure which park yet - we have ADR's at both Coral Reef @ 7pm and Raglan Road @ 7pm - not sure which one to keep - would love your input on this.
Saturday - check out :(

We will do a water park on one of the off days - but haven't decided which one yet. I'm also unsure about Downtown Disney but I think my boys will like it there - so that is why I have an ADR at Raglan Road - but we may also head to DD after our AK day and then I would probably keep Coral Reef instead of Raglan.

Any thoughts/comments would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

You did good with your ADR's. Regarding Friday - I would stick with Coral Reef, I personally love that place and I think your kids will think the fish tank its really cool - however if you are going to be at DTD, then Raglan road is a good choice. Then again, my favorite CS restaurants are at DTD, Earl of Sandwich and WGPuckExpress - so I usually do sit downs elsewhere and use my CS credits there. Ahhh ... its fun to eat around the world!

I think your ADR's look great!

As for Friday, I'd stick with Raglan Road over Coral Reef personally. But whichever you choose I hope you and your family have a magical time!

Thank you both - we are sooooo excited. And I did hear that DTD has great CS options so we have Wolfgang Puck Express and Earl of Sandwich on our radar. I guess I just need someone to post a tie-breaker as Coral Reef and Raglan Road each got one vote lol!!

You've got some good ones! Whispering Canyon on your first day..great choice! What a way to start the vacation. Chef Mickey, one of our favorites. We go pretty much every trip, but for b'fast. Teppan Edo is not bad. We have an excellent Japanese steakhouse locally, so admittedly it had a lot to measure up to. It was good, and anytime someone makes a volcano out of onions you can't go wrong! I haven't been to Mama Melrose, but I am a big fan to TS meals for lunch. Great way to get off your feet and relax.

As for Coral Reef or Raglan, I'd probably stick with Coral Reef. I haven't been to Raglan Road, so I can't say one was a better experience than the other. Raglan Road sounds fun, but the menu is a bit heavier than I care for. We've been to Coral Reef 3x though, and it has been good each time..service was painfully slow, but the food and atmosphere were good.

Thank you - we heard WCC was a lot of fun and my hubby is a big meat eater so I'm pretty sure he will love it - and I will be sue to ask for ketchup!! I am really looking forward to Teppan Edo because my kids have never tried that style of dining before and I think they will be more open to it in Disney than they would at home (fingers crossed!).

A friend raved about Coral Reef, but it does get mixed reviews here - and we are not really big seafood people, but I'm definitely interested in the big aquarium and I'm sure there will be something for us if we do keep that over Raglan Road.

Since you are doing Teppan Edo, I guess you are doing Epcot that day. You reservations sound good to me. I never tried Ragland Road. Coral Reef was ok. Not the greatest though.

Well, I'm going to tie it up again and pick Raglan Road over Coral Reef. I felt like we were paying for the aquariam experience versus the food there. Raglan Road had great food and recently has been getting rave reviews. They also have live music! One other place you might want to consider on your AK day is Boma over at AKL. You could eat an awesome meal there and then the boys could go out to the lookout and use the night vision goggles to view the animals on the savannah at dark! They'd probably love it! Everything else looks great! Oh, have to throw a shout out for Ohana too! It's our family's (me, dh, ds 10, dd 5) absolute favorite dinner! Have fun!

Yes - that will be an Epcot day for us. I am torn about Coral Reef because of all the mixed reviews, but my friend just raved about it. Who knows where we will end up!!

Thank you!!! Raglan Road could be edging out Coral Reef now! I did hear Boma was great, but I'm not sure if we will be at AK that long. We have breakfast at Tusker House at 8am and then we are heading right to the park. From what I am told, we could easily be done in the early to mid afternoon at that time of year so I don't know if we will want to stick around that long for dinner. And it seems like a long bus ride away just for a separate dinner reservation. The night vision google thing does sound cool though so I will keep that in the back of my mind. Can't wait for Ohana either - probably the meal I'm looking forward to the most!!
