First of all, thanks to everyone for all their great tips and advice. I am a big planner and you were all very helpful. We had an absolutely unbelievable time! We stayed at ASMo - had a great room on the corner overlooking the Toy Story gang! I really liked the resort because we were there with ds(5) and dd(3) - they made it fun. The pool was never busy (can't say that about the food court). Anyway, started our trip with supper at Chef Mickey's - not great food, but it was fun - the characters came around to us a couple of times - Goofy even sat on the floor and cuddled and played around with ds &dd for a few minutes. They loved it! I don't have anything to compare the crowds to, but I found them pretty good until Fri. I tried to pick days I thought each park might be slower (ieAK Sunday because of Soapfest at MGM, MGM Mon. because Soapfest on weekend, MK Wednesday, no Spectro or fireworks etc.) We walked on to most rides and when we FP, we walked on at return time. At MK on Wed. we headed straight for Dumbo - walked on twice. Did all FL twice with no waits. Walked onto ToT, even though it was posting a 30 minute wait. TT was probably our longest wait at 20 minutes. Ds got to switch off everything, so he rode everything twice in a row. Friday and Saturday were very busy - we didn't mind it that much since the rest of the week was so good(although we decided we would never go at peak season). We saw all the parades and night shows. We saw Monsters, Inc. at DD. We had character dinner at Chef Mickeys(food wasn't great but characters were),character breakfast at Crystal Palace - excellent food and characters! We also had dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table and had a wonderful encounter with Prince Charming. The kids did the tea party with Alice, while Dh and I enjoyed lunch at the GF. My ds was pulled out into the parade at MK to dance . Characters were everywhere - especially MGM. The kids loved them. Tigger played around with them, Minnie made special notice of dd during the parade, the green army men taught my son how to salute, Prince Charming went the extra mile to make ds happy.... I could go on and on. The entire trip was magical! We loved BB! It rained 15 minutes our whole vacation. The buses were good, except for leaving MK, they just seemed to take a long time to arrive. I can't imagine going to WDW for the first time without some sort of planning. It really made our trip run smoothly! Thanks again!
