This will be our first visit to Universal. We usually do all disney. This visit we are doing Universal, IOA, seaworld and busch gardens. While my children all love the thrill rides, hubby and I get motion sick. So my question is are there good rides we can do, kinda on the same page as haunted mansion or Pirates in dis, that are in the parks we are going to. Thank you all for your help:worship:

Some shows have the stationary seats that you can use with no movement.

I used Google and searched under "images" to find the park maps. You can then see which rides offer this no movement option.

I hope this will be of some help.

Enjoy your trip!!!

Is your motion sickness caused by spinning (like the Teacups), or simulators (like Star Tours), or going upside (like Rock N Rollercoaster)? Let us know and then we can recommend some rides. Spinning bothers me but even on the rides that do spin at Universal and IoA, none spin enough to bother me. But I can NOT do teacups at Magic Kingdom and yet have no problem with Mission:Space. I can do simulators but Star Tours does make me fell woozy. So if you can give us some specifics of rides that you can't do at Disney we can maybe give you some tips.

The motion sickness is from stimulators mostly though my husband gets it from motion too. Its too bad because he really wants to try it all.

Try taking half of a dramamine in the morning. It does wonders!

Briles, your motion sickness sounds like mine. Back to the Future used to make me feel a little woozy. But now BTTF is gone, I'll have to wait until the Simpson ride opens to see if it bothers me. Jimmy Neutron sometimes bothers me. I don't have any problems with Spiderman though. I second damo's suggestion. Get some non-drowsy formula Dramamine or Bonine. I'd give everything a try. Your husband might want to skip Hulk and Dueling Dragons though.

I think that I am going to try the Dramine. Has anybody used this that has had bad motion sickness and it worked? Curious, I am so excited because this will be our first time at universal. Thank you guys for all your help
