I searched for this and did not come up with what I was looking for, so I'm hoping some of you veterans out there can help me out.

If you at the parks all day long, and then have reservations at one of the restaurants for dinner (Teppen Edo for example), do you go back to your room and change? Or do you just go dressed as you are (jeans, t-shirt, gym shoes, etc..) It would seem to me that we will not have time to go back to change, but I don't want to go to dinner looking 'grubby' either.

Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks!!:)

nope, go as you are, they expect it. I think the only place with a dress code is Victoria & ALberts at the GF. We wore shorts, t-shirts & sneakers to all of our meals.

Have a great time!

Hi,

You can wear jeans to any WDW restaurant (expect V&A).

Most people will go to dinner in "theme park attire," especially in a theme park!

If we are eating in the park we do not go back to change. If it is a non park day and we are going to a resort for dinner sometimes we dress up at bit.

We love to eat at 'Ohana and we have matching Disney hawaiian theme print shirts (purchased from the Disney catalog). Yes, I know, everyone laugh about it now - but we love doing this. We are a couple in our mid 40's and usually also have my boyfriends now 19 year old son with us. We have been doing this with him since he was 9 and now when he packs to go to Disney with us he always packs his hawaiian shirt - we have gotten a few new shirts since we started doing this. This past July the 19 year old brought his 19 year old girlfriend with him and he made sure they were in matching shirts - so my boyfriend and I were in one set and they were in another set. She made faces but then went out and bought us all Mickey July 4th ears and we all wore them on July 4th.

Unless we have an ADR at a Signature Restaurant.. we wear park clothes. Even some of the Signatures at the resorts are fairly casual, even though they have a "resort casual" dress code.

As the PP said, go as you are. V&A has a strict dress code and the signature TS restaurants have a resort casual dress code. All other dining locations are come as you are.

Business Casual codes are at:
Artist Point
California Grill
Citricos
Flying Fish Cafe
Jiko
Narcoossee's
Yachtsman Steakhouse

Formal Dress Code is at:
V&A

I do believe Bistro de Paris has a stricter dress code also. We always dress when we go there and I don't remember seeing any other diners in jeans or shorts there. Jackets are not required so it's not quite as strict as V&A.

my DH will be wearing black jeans (nice, new jeans) when we're at narcoosees next week (along with a dressy button down shirt)

We always went as we were dressed....we don't go where there are dress codes (at least as of yet), so it's never been an issue unless we were particularly hot and sweaty or wet from a rainstorm!!
