First timer just back from Disney

...and I just want to say WOW! It lived up to all my expectations. We had the best time except for a few minor incidents which I'll report on the trip report board.

Weather:we wore tank tops, shorts and sandals for 2 weeks, not a drop of rain

Crowds:No crowds whatsover the last week of October. The first week of November it was a lot more crowded. We didn't get as much done but the crowds were still manageble.

My Kids:They are scared on every ride they go on but for some reason rode EVERYTHING at Disney and loved it. Is it something in the air? DS5 hates water and getting wet and his favourite all time ride was Splash Mountain

Ah and there it is...your hooked!Glad to hear that you had a Magical time! Our first trip to WDW still stands out in my mind no matter how many times we go...that first walk down Main Street USA just like you'd always imagined it I bet! Hope you have many more trips to come!

Welcome back! Glad to hear that your trip was Magical ... have you already started planning the next one ??? If not, give yourself a week to catch up on laundry, etc and you'll be on the phone to CRO to see what you can get! If you're anything like the rest of us here, you're hooked ... for life!

Welcome to the other side. When are you going back? My ds has been 5 times and still his favorite attraction is the hotel swimming pool

Glad to hear that your first trip was so enjoyable! And I too loved the part where you said that your 1 yr old's favourite attraction were the doors at Innovations! We just came back from my 5th trip to WDW and I can't believe that we still haven't seen everything! And I can't wait to go back! There's just something about the "World" that keeps dragging you back for more!

We were there the last week in October too and couldn't believe how uncrowded it was! We walked on probably 98% of the rides.

We just returned home Saturday and I'm already finding myself thinking about planning the next trip! Thank goodness for the DIS; other people think I'm nuts!
