First time...going with BF. I want to make an itinerary.....should I allow all morning and afternoon for one place? Like, Magic Kingdom in early AM and expect to get home at dinnertime????
If its your first time to WDW, you could easily spend all day in each park! IF you have the energy that is!! ;-) I don't do that anymore. I get to the parks early, ride what I want to ride, then when its gets crowded and hot, I head back to the resort for a nap or swim. Then later in the day, I will head back. Though usualy to a different park.
The crowds and heat will play a big role in how much you do in the parks. Just don't overplan things!! You want to see as much as you can, but don't kill yourselves or you just won't enjoy your trip that much!!
Thanks Dennis. Yeah, we'll be there the 2nd week of September so I'm hoping it;s not as brutally hot as August or July. Any recommendations for where to go, eat, fun, character brkfst. We're staying at the Wilderness Lodge. Ever been?
I'll tell you what they told me, Buy a copy of the unofficial Guide to WDW and read it! It help me soooooo much. Told me lots of things I never would have know, & it has some plans in it you might want to follow
Oh Kathy! I'm a 7 year annual passholder from FL. The heat in September is like July and August and now!!! It's 1:40 at night and it's 82 degrees out right now!! It's gonna be hot. You can do alot at the parks if you plan it right!! I'm excited for you!
Yes we also tend to leave around lunch time and either return to that park, or another in the evenings. Staying all day is exhausting - we did our first trip when we stayed off site, 8am - midnight - and never again!
