First Time Using Mobility Scooter - Disneyland

Off site companies will deliver to Disney hotels too. Same deal - you have to make arrangements to meet them when they deliver. Here's some information regarding a few of those companies mentioned on the DIS:
We used D&R Mobility Scooter Rental for our two Grannies a year or so ago. They delivered to and picked up from the Grand Californian. For delivery, they got there as scheduled and texted us for the handoff. For pick up, they were there when promised for the hand off. Easy peasy. I had read tons of horrible reviews of Scooter Bug (the "official") vendor, so stayed away from them. Both of the D&R scooters were in great shape, including batteries.

I've decided to go with Gold Mobility as I wanted to avoid the company that works with Disney. I did read some bad reviews of that particular company so even if I need to be there for drop off and pickup, its not too much of an inconvenience for me.

I used Gold Mobility last trip the scooters were newer than others I've rented and while my appreciated the fan on the bars she said it was a bother because she couldn't lean forward and rest her arms.

One fun thing - on Haunted Mansion, you get to go in a special hallway at the end after the ride itself ends if you are someone they had to slow the ride down for to get on. It was appropriately decorated, not just a backstage area, no special effects or anything, but still kind of spooky with a lowish ceiling and you are all alone when you go to the elevator. It was kind of cool!

I forget if you see the hitchhiking ghosts or not, but I have been on the ride so many times without an ECV the hallway was new to me and special!

You still see the hitchhiking ghosts if you need the ADA elevator. You stay on and go past the normal exit.
