First time using Dining Plan

We're headed to Disney in November and it's my first time using the dining plan. The "free" part finally swayed me! It'll be my mom and me, but we will probably meet my daughter at the parks and have dinner together. (She just moved to Orlando.) My question: Will they write this up as two separate checks or add her as a separate charge? Just curious how the plan works when one of the dining guests is not on the plan.

In the past, they have done separate checks for us but that was with two people not on the dining plan. I am sure they will do it either way you want.

It will be a minimum of 2 checks, one for those on DDP, one for charges not included with DDP (including other guests.) However, beyond that, you can get it split pretty much anyway you want. Just let the server know ahead of time when you're seated to help them enter it all in correctly .
