So it looks like we'll be probably doing 8 nights / 9 days Our son will only miss 4 days of school.
We're looking at a two hotel split stay with Coronado, Port Orleans FQ, Wilderness Lodge, and AKL in contention. Possibly AoA or POP for the decor.
We are just waiting for the January / Winter packages to drop.
Aiming at 5-6 park days with hopper and 2-3 rest/ hotel touring/ shopping days.
Universal will be a gametime decision and the only reason we might be going is because our son is a minion nut. Based on a few posts it probably would be better to stay at an onsite Universal hotel, but it'll be too much of a planning and packing headache for us.
