What are the must sees, must eats and fun things to do, I'm going with my grandma, mom and 19 year old sister.

I'll be there for 3 days.

I've stayed at the WDW resort over 25 times and ready to try something new!

I'll be there around mid June

I agree with Mystic Path's excellent list...... but would add Mr. Toad, Pinocchio & Storybookland to the must do's (since they're DLR exclusives.......(& would drop the Muppets if you've done them bunches at WDW).

Welcome to the DLR board, Bobbie.:welcome:

For the WDW vet, here's the primer:

Then read the rest of HydroGuy's tip threads (might want to print off the two park maps first) & have a nice informative read:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1520483

Also MaryJo's thread provides alot of great info as well:

After reading these threads you'll have a good knowledge of DLR & will be posting again for detailed info.

Have a great time planning a visit to Walt's Park. :thumbsup2

EVERYTHING!!!!! You will have plenty of time to do it all! Even though there are similar attractions at WDW, they all vary slightly! You are going to have a blast.

The key will be the fastpasses and getting there early in the morning.

We like to enter the park go to the left, Indiana Jones, Pirates, HM, Splash, Thunder,....... we run to Splash and get a FP, then go to IJ....then work the rides with less lines!

All of the suggestions I have read are good. But I recommend having lunch at the Hungry Bear and sitting there and watching life on the Rivers of America going by.

Have a great trip!

Is that the first time someone beat you to your own guide? :rotfl:

Anyway, welcome!

There's too much info, so I'll just say what I always say to new DISers. Hang out with us for a while, because you'll learn a TON. By the way, when in mid-June are you going? I might see you there.

I don't think I saw Mike and Sully to the Rescue in DCA on the list. I would suggest you add that in there, especially if you like Monster's Inc. The Animation Building is really cool, with the awesome Toy Story zoetrope. I really like the cute and sometimes hidden details of ToonTown in DL (I hear the DL version of ToonTown is better than the WDW version) and A Bug's Land in DCA.

As for food, if you like character meals I am a strong enthusiast of Goofy's Kitchen in the DLH. Storytellers Cafe in the GCH is nice for ambience, character dining and non-character dining. Carnation Cafe in DL is quaint and charming, and great for people watching. Wine Country Trattoria in DCA is a good place to eat, with some tables overlooking the Pixar Play Parade. For fine dining, you may want to try the critic and fan favorite Napa Rose in the GCH. The very popular Blue Bayou in DL has seating inside the POTC ride, and has a great fan base. In Downtown Disney, Rainforest Cafe, Naples and ESPN Zone are great restaurants to eat at to escape the madness of the parks.
