First time renting with Budget

I usually rent through Dollar but had a coupon through BJ's for free upgrade and the rates were about $30 less for some reason than Dollar's. Rented from 11/9 through 11/16 - 8 days. Total price was $158.13 for compact car.

Could not believe line at MCO for Budget!!! Took almost 1-1/2 hours to get up to counter!! Was trying to keep cool and was glad I did because after I gave the clerk my information he said "Would you mind taking a covertible?" Wow!!! It was worth the wait. Did not tell my DH about the upgrade until we were walking up to the new Sebring in the garage!! He could not believe it!! The weather was great for the whole week and we had a great time with it! Also, I turned the car in about an hour earlier than I had originally thought and my bill turned out to be only $135.xx!!!

Good deal! We had an hour wait at the Alamo counter this year, too, kind of lousy. I wouldn't have minded as much if we'd gotten as sweet a deal as you did!

If you sign up for fastbreak you can go straight to the garage get your keys and leave. You will not have to stand in line. if you already have a reservation just call the 1800 number and have your number added to your ressie.

You will have to print a form off of budgets website then fax it in. Eventually you will get a plastic card with your fastbreak number. Fastbreak takes the stress out of renting a car.

I have rented a car for our next vacation. May 22.-29, 2005. I got a full size vehicle for 108 plus tax. I reserved my car about 9 months inadvance.

Do you get to pick out your car at Budget Orlando? Or do they still designate a car to you even though you have the fastbreak?

When you check rates on line be sure to fill out like normal, input your fastbreak number then click check rates, if you do this you can still choose the type of car you would like to reserve.

Wow, what a line! When we have used Budget at MCO, we've been very lucky and have not encountered any lines, other than maybe one or two people in front of us. We've gotten a couple of nice upgrades too...not a convertible, but an SUV.
