First time questions

so we are going on our first ever cruise in March 2019... 4 night Port Canaveral to Bahamas on Disney Dream.
here are some questions I have:
1. Do you need photo ID to get on/off ship in Bahamas? I know we will need our key cards. What about my 13 year old?
2. I’m assuming we can make it so 13 yr old’s card does not have charging ability? Last thing I need is him running up my credit card. Lol
3. Are soft drinks (Coke, etc...) free on the ship?
4. Is food and drink on Cataway Cay included in price of cruise?
I think that’s all for now...if anyone has hints...I’d love to hear them!

Yes photo ID for adults. Might start at 16; can’t remember. But not for your 13 year old.

You can block him from charging.

Soda is included.

Food and soft drinks at castaway are included.

Regarding your #3 questions about sodas...if I recall correctly they are included with meals and at all the quick services places and at the sods station near the pool.....but if you order a soda via room service you have to pay. Maybe someone can confirm this. It has been a while since we cruised....

Soda is included at the soda fountains on the pool deck and in the main dining rooms and buffet. But it is NOT included at the theater, where it is sold in cans (for that matter, popcorn, candy etc. at the theater is also all an extra charge).

We never buy soda or snacks at the theater. We go to the drink station and then get snacks on deck (pizza or fries) and take those to the theater. You can also get cookies from room service or cakes from Vista cafe at no additional charge and take those to the theater. Soda from room service is an additional charge but at breakfast you can get juice, milk and coffee for free.
