Since this is our first trip to Disney where are most eats? What should we not miss to eat? Or where should we avoid?

In case you need to know its a family vacation with kids.

we love sci-fi (DS), coral reef (EP), Flame Tree (AK), Ohanas (poly), and many more. but w/o knowing more about your likes and dislikes it a start.

I'm not too sure what you're budget is, however, these are my recommendations:

Magic Kingdom
--Cosmic Ray's in TomorrowLand is good. They have a little bit of everything and the atmosphere is interesting.

--Crystal Palace off Main Street is great for kids. Lots of character interaction and very good buffet style food.

--Mrs. Potts in FantasyLand has great ice cream and ice cream sodas!!

--In FrontierLand, they have awesome turkey legs and churros to munch on from a street vendor during the parade.

EPCOT
--Garden Grill in The Land.

--San Angel in Mexico. It has awesome atmosphere and great food.

--Biergarten in Germany. Great music and entertainment.

--Le Cellier in Canada. Good steaks, but pricey.

Animal Kingdom
--Tusker House in Africa. Great chicken.

--Pizzafari on Discovery Island. Great brick oven pizzas.

--Rainforest Cafe at entrance. If you have never been to Rainforest Cafe, it is a must see. Awesome atmosphere, however it can be a sensory overload and overwhelming at times. There is also one in Downtown Disney.

Disney Hollywood Studios
--'50's Prime Time Cafe. 1950's style atmosphere with a "different" style of service...almost like you're at home.

--Brown Derby. Nice atmosphere and moderately priced.

--Mama Melrose's. Great Italian food!! One of my favorites.

--Sci-Fi Dine In Theater. A very unique experience where you dine in a car and watch old cheesy science fiction film clips while you eat. It's good to do once, but I personally won't do it again. The food is just okay.

--Toy Story Pizza Planet. Great brick oven style pizzas with a Toy Story atmosphere.

These are just some of my suggestions for the parks. There are literally hundreds of places all around WDW, such as the resorts, Downtown Disney, Disney Boardwalk and tons of other restaurants throughout the parks that you could eat at. Your options are truly endless.

I also go to earl of sandwich in downtown disnys. I also like to go the beaches and cream------great burgera and no way jose

MK - Pecos Bills and Casey's.
EPCOT - Le Cellier and you must get a snack from the French bakery!
AK - Flame Tree
DHS - Hollywood and Vine. This was a very very pleasent surprise for us.
Resort Restaurants - Kona Cafe or O'hanas.
DTD - Wolfgang Puck Express or Earl of Sandwich.

Here are mine:

Artist Point-Wilderness Lodge
Flying Fish-Boardwalk
Marrakesh-Moracco
Sci-Fi-Hollywood Studios (MGM)-really entertaining for the kids, food was OK
1900 Park Fare-Grand Floridian
Ohana's-Polynesian
Liberty Tavern-MK
Crystal Palace-MK (good Winnie the Pooh characters at breakfast)

Here are my dislikes:

Roaring Forks-Wilderness Lodge I cannot stand the noise
Cinderella's Castle-I am not a big fan of the pretzel rolls, we do this just for the kids.
Boma-Large buffet with long lines and some odd food selections

Thanks for your comments.
I already have Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, O'Hana, and 50's booked. I don't know if I'm going to keep 50's because I don't know if the kids are going to like it or not. My kids aren't to picky. My 10 year old will eat you out of house and home and my 8 year old is a bird. he will eat a little then will be full for about an hour then hungry again. My kids love salads and veggies. They are strange like that. My youngest loves seafood my oldest hates it. My oldest loves hamburgers my youngest would rather chicken nuggets. We have to eat at places that have alot of choices.
I don't think:confused3 we are going to get the dinning plan with the way my family eats. I don't think it cost affection. If you guys think it is please tell me. I open to anything to save a little money.:thumbsup2

Crystal Palace, Kona, 50's Prime Time, Beirgarten to name a few
