so i am booked in a deluxe veranda stateroom it says 299 sq with veranda how much of that is the actual veranda also my sister is in the regular veranda stateroom at 246sqish is it a noticeable difference. second one of the shores excisions we wanted to do in jamica is sold out do they hold back spots for when we get on the boat and what is the quickest way to book them if they hold back spots?

Fantasy does have different size vets dabs and the difference is notable, I had a bump out one before and you really notice that, the sizes quoted are correct but can be made up in any type of shape, some are straight some curve.


Rarely they hold back shore trips but do ask, They occasionally add extra capacity they did in Europe last year but there may be a limited number of coaches and guides. Check at 4 days pre cruise as people can cancel up to three days pre cruise.

I have stayed in the 4a on the dream (299 square feet) a 4a on the Wonder (304 sq feet) and a 5a on the Wonder (268 square feet). I of course did not notice a difference between the two 4a's (304 vs. 299 sq feet) they seemed like the same size room, but the 268 square feet seemed very cramped to us. Big difference. We were also 4 people (a pre-teen and a teen) . I was not happy in the 268 square foot room. The room was narrower, shorter, and the bathroom felt much more cramped. I would imagine with younger or fewer kids it might not be so bad, but it really didn't work for us.
