first time going in May...how are crowd levels?

Hi! We've always gone in Sept or Dec....can anyone tell me how the crowds usually are the 2nd wknd in May?

We are also September people...but for the past 4 years or so we've also gone in May. A bit more crowded but not completely unacceptable. Do the rope drop for stand by and browse the rest of the day. Definitely make the FP+ reservations for the afternoon. Seriously not a bad time to go, but you will see a difference between early May and September.

It will be crowded, but not unmanageable. That is of course, unless you are going to hit Epcot during the Flower festival, expect more people there. Also expect the highest crowds at DHS for SWW if you'll be there for those. The parades will be very crowded, but when aren't they?
