First time Food and Wine Festival question...

I saw somewhere that you can buy gift cards for the Food and Wine Fest that are on some kind of elastic wrist band.

1. Is this true?
2. Where do you get them?
3. Is it possible to buy them before you arrive?

I thought this would be nice to have so I wouldn't have to be getting out my KTTW card or cash everytime we wanted to sample at the kiosks. (Also I could set my spending limit for F & W Fest before I get there.)

Yes its true. You can buy them at several locations around world showcase and in the festival center.

The cost is whatever you want to put on it. You use it to pay for food and wine -easier then constantly pulling out a credit card or fumbling for cash. They had them last year too.

That is during our visit too!!! I think we are doing Epcot on October 8 in the morning and all day on October 9th.

The cards are like any other gift card. They can be used pretty much through out the park, and can also be reloaded if you are running low We used ours quite a bit last year.
I also liked the fact last year the remaining balance showed on receipts so we knew when to cut it off... or in our case reload and keep going
