I'm assuming the driver will know exactly what to do, as we have never been to the port before. But I'm just wondering, will we have a long walk with our luggage after he drops us off? Where exactly do we go after that?

The driver will take you to an area where the porters are busily taking luggage from the cars so it can be loaded onto the ship.

Don't worry, I would be very surprised if the driver didn't know what to do.

A couple of things:

1. Dont' forget to tip your porter.

2. Keep any possesions that you have an immeadiate need for. The luggage will sometimes not be delivered to your room for a few hours so if there is something you have that you need access to then carry it on yourself.

The terminal where you check in is right around the corner from where the driver will drop you off. It is really very easy and nothing to be concerned about.

Have fun,

Jeff

Jeff, thanks a bunch. Thats just what I was looking for. Your baby is adorable. :D

Hmmm, well I was looking for this info too so I'm still not clear, you are basically right at the ship? Meaning it's not a mile long hike from where you are dropped off?

Do you have to use a porter? Are they actually DCL employees? If I didn't use a porter, I assume I would be stuck carrying my luggage on? (or is that even an option)?
