Hello all,
I am a first-time cruiser and will be on the Disney Wish in July. May 10th I will be able to go in and make any reservations (75 days)
Here are my questions.
1) What are my chances of booking a "couple choice" massage appt so late in the game as far as new cruisers 75 day mark?
2) Because my 75 day mark, I assume it is midnight. Is it worth staying awake and getting a jump on it and losing a little bit of sleep on a work day?
3) What are my chances of also booking a dinner at "Enchante"?
4) My wife made a good point (not that is of major importance) but if our waitstaff follows us thru our nightly dinners and we break it up with a meal at Palo or such, how does that affect that?
Thank you for your time in advance!

I don't want to answer numbers 1-3, because I was a new cruiser in 2014 so while our second cruise is next year, there's a whole 10 years between those. (I will say in 2014, we did get a couples massage, but I think it was at a super weird time, like right after the muster and during the sail away party. We also got Palo)

4) The dining team follows your table through the rotation, if you do book Palo or Enchante, there will be different servers there.

If there are activities you really want to book, then it is worth staying up late to try to get them. I have not sailed on the Wish and have been Platinum for a while when booking on other ships, so I do not know whether the activities you want are likely to have sold out before you can book them.

If you will be skipping a meal in the main dining room, it is a good idea to let your serving team know, just they will not be waiting for you before serving the rest of the table. Your team will greet you at your assigned table the next time you are in a main dining room. The recommended gratuity for the serving team will not be affected if you skip meals.

1) The Wish does not have the “couples choice” option, just a basic “Swedish Massage for Couples.” Your odds are good if you are flexible on the day/time.
2) Yes, midnight is worth it. First timers tend to overbook so you want to be online quick before they snap up everything.
3) Very good. Dinner rarely sells out as people don’t want to miss the MDRs. It is the brunches that go super quick.
4) You won’t have your dining team that night. Palo and Enchante servers are separate and are tipped separately.

Fairly good, as long as you're flexible with the time. You can also go there when on board as they get cancellations too.

2) Because my 75 day mark, I assume it is midnight. Is it worth staying awake and getting a jump on it and losing a little bit of sleep on a work day?
Yes, stay awake until midnight or set your alarm

3) What are my chances of also booking a dinner at "Enchante"?
Very good, as most people prefer brunch. They don't want to miss the MDR and Shows at night.

You have an entirely different waitstaff at Palo ect. Also, if you won't be there one night, it's polite to tell your wait staff the night before so they know you won't be there at the MDR that night so they won't have your drinks ready ect when you aren't coming.

I should have been clear i mean the servers for the 3 dining days even though I caused a disruption with the 4th

Regarding MDR servers, the only thing it really effects is you not seeing them on the night you have your Palo/Enchante dinner. You'd still be tipping them full amount as if you've eaten in the MDR on all nights (assuming standard auto gratuity stuff) . There's not much of a disruption by having people in the dining room 😜.

You're not disrupting the rotation by booking an Adult Dining location. You will be assigned to a dining room for each night of your cruise. On a 4 night cruise, you will be assigned to two of the main dining rooms once and the third main dining room twice (once on pirate night and once with its regular menu). For example, you may be assigned to 1923, Worlds of Marvel, Worlds of Marvel, Arendelle. You will have the same table number and the same serving team in each restaurant, though the table location may vary between restaurants. If you skip a night to go to Palo or Enchante, you will go to your assigned restaurant for the next night. So, if you skip Worlds of Marvel on night 3, you will go to Arendelle on night 4 as scheduled. The servers will be in Worlds of Marvel on night 3 serving other guests, even if you are not there.

Thank you
And the Disney Wish does in fact have the couples choice option
130 treatment with 75minute massage choice and private balcony with whirlpool. Confirmed with phone call

There may only be some weird times available for Couple’s Choice when you’re able to book. Keep checking though, especially closer to the sailing date. I was able to find a 2pm slot on the second sea day. That would have been something I’d pick on my own. (We did cancel onboard though as we felt our schedule was too full.)

Perhaps it is only bookable onboard then? We have a 4-night wish cruise in august and that is not an option on any of the days of the sailing.

Okay I did a little research and answered my own question. It turns out they do have a version of couple choice but it is not called that in the app—you have to book the “Hydration Float Suite” or the “Zero Gravity Suite.”

A couple of notes: yes, it will be midnight on 75 days out (when the countdown clock is at 75:00:00, or very close). If you are not in Eastern time then you can translate the time zone accordingly (for example, if you're in Central Time, then it would be 11pm). If you're looking to get certain activities, then yes, it's worth staying up. There's a whole pinned thread on how to get through online check in quickly, that will help in losing less sleep on a worknight.

You should have no issue getting Enchante dinner. On my 3-night last month, there were dinner slots available every night all the way up until they closed it right before the sailing.

1. They offer a couples swedish massage on the wish, very likely you can book it. Certain times may be booked up by the time it gets to you but grab a time that works and if you really want a different time you can keep watching the app as people change their plans and drop things. In my experience massages are one that gets cancelled and changed often as people solidify their plans.

2. This it really depends. if you have your heart set on a couple things then yes stay up. In my experience tho unless you're hoping for some of the hotter things it may not be worth it. Just depends on what you want to do.

3. Dinner - good chances, we've even been able to book Palo dinner once we were on board the first night at our dinner. Our server helped us get it booked! (Well for my parents, I didn't want to miss MDR)

4. Servers will be different at the upcharge restaurants. MDR rotation you keep your servers your whole trip.

We could have booked a Palo or Enchante dinner on the Wish in January about 2 weeks out. No brunch availability and no dessert at Enchante availability, but no problem getting the others.
