Hi All!

I am hoping someone can help me. I have been on 5 Disney cruise and this September will by 6th but my first time as concierge; to say I am excited would be an understatement. Anyway, I have a 1 bedroom reserved and I have a question or two. According to the DCL website the 1 bedroom have a wet bar stocked with water and soda and that is my question. Do I need to email the concierge team to make sure there is water and soda or will it automatically be stocked? Also, I have already booked my excursions and on board activities with the the concierge team, is there anything else I need to do? This trip is for my mom and I as we have not been a vacation in over 2 years and I felt with my dad passing away a year ago this month, mom and I need something. And what better way than a cruise with Disney and this cruise was booked late last year and my mom is really looking forward to this vacation as am I.

Again, thank you for your help.

Jennifer

You will be in great hands with Disney and the Concierge staff. They will give you and your Mom the vacation you need/deserve right now. Your fridge will automatically be stocked with some waters and sodas, but you can email shoreside and request specific ones. For example, we always ask for Sprite and Evian waters because those are our favorites. They have all coke products, as well as, juices and milks. A few other things you can request beforehand include table location (near the stage, near a window), you can reserve specialty dining, and you can ask for a favorite wine or spirit to be stocked in the concierge lounge for the 5 - 10 pm open bar time. When you get onboard, be sure you ask for the pillow menu, so you and your mom can choose your favorite pillow type. You are going to have an amazing time, Jennifer!

We had a concierge verandah on the Wish.

Our in-room cooler was filled with an assortment of Coke products when we boarded: Coke, Sprite, and Dasani

If there is something specific you want or absolutely don't want, provided they stock it, you can request it beforehand by contacting the shoreside concierge team.

They'll put Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, and water in there by default and restock it during the cruise. If you want something else, reach out to the concierge team.

Also, I have already booked my excursions and on board activities with the concierge team, is there anything else I need to do?

Nope, unless you want to change your bookings. If it's an activity you need physical tickets for, those will be in your room by the day before the activity.

One perk that sound wonderful is with a 1 bedroom Cat and above, you can order dinner to the room. Plus, the adult restaurants.
I just watched one of my favorite Disney Vloggers do this on his recent cruise. Shout out to Adam Hattan. He could order dinner from any of the dining rooms. 👍

And I believe room service breakfast also includes hot items.

We will be enjoying a one bedroom on the Fantasy for the first time early next year and I am so excited!!! Do any of you know or can confirm if we can order from any restaurant for dinner or will one dining room menu be designated each night. I have read conflicting reports. I also understand Palo can only be ordered if you are in one of the big suites, correct?

Also, I notice on the Dream post-drydock the bathrooms have been refreshed. Do you think the same thing will happen to the Fantasy during its dry dock? I am crossing my fingers and hoping the Couples Villa on Deck 11 gets redone like on the Dream and that I can snag it. I will trade being across/down the hall from the Concierge lounge for that refreshed cabin!

Keep in mind it is not actually a fridge in the rooms, but it is just a cooler, which means it will not make things cold and it will not keep things cold for long (putting something cold or hot into a good thermos or tumbler does the trick a lot better, IMO). When we were in concierge last year on the Wish, we just found it easier to go into the lounge and grab something cold out of the fridges there on our way back to the room (we were in 12002, so we literally had to walk best the lounge door to get to our room).

We just sailed concierge on the Dream and we definitely had a fridge, not a cooler. Kept drinks very cold. So I think it depends what ship you are on.
