First time August visit, park hours?

Hello! We are looking at taking out first August trip. I know, I know. It's hot, it's miserable, the crowds! Sadly, it's either go in August or don't go! So, I'll paint the sunscreen on, drink all the water, and come back having sweat out like 15 pounds, right? LOL

Now, park hours. I looked at the posted times, and I know we are still a few months out, but everything is closing the first week of August at 9pm? No late nights, even in summer? Please tell me this will change, and we will have the time to really take a break and go back until like midnight or something. And, when do you think it will change?

It'll change about a month prior, maybe even down to a couple of weeks/week prior.

Depends on the crowds. More crowds=more hours.

We are going in August too. I'm planning on the hours to be extended. Pretty sure they will be and hoping they add night EMH to Animal Kingdom. Take a spray misting fan, it was a life saver for us and plan some table service meals in the heat of the day or take some resort breaks in the middle of the day.

We went last August, first week. Besides evening EMH, Epcot still closed at 9pm every night. MK got extended until 11 or midnight most nights. DHS got extended to 10pm a couple nights. AK did not get extended but this year should have longer nighttime hours. They did NOT add any additional EMH. Those are pretty set in stone.

I'm pretty sure Animal Kingdom was open until 11:00 everyday.
