on a whim we booked 3 nights poly CL. This will be the first time doing RD, and trying to coordinate FP, we were slightly limited in our FP choices and ADR's but I think I secured some good ones. Kids are under 6, and goal is to try and ride every ride once, while I'm sure my oldest would like to ride splash mountain over and over again, that is not necessary. We are planning a pool day at the resort on arrival day, but here are our other days

Day 2:
Breakfast CL
Park opens at 9am what time should we get there to see welcome show and RD?
Tea cups
Pooh
Dumbo
Barnstormer
Ariel ride
(Depending on how quick we can do the rides above we may try for the carousel as well)
10:50 Bog adr
Splash mountain FP
Thunder mountain FP
Take train to front of park
Back to poly for swim and nap around 1-2
Appetizers at poly
7pm back to park
7dmt FP
Light parade
Then IF kids took nap and can keep going we plan to do race cars, buzz, people mover, orbit rockets etc

Day 3:
Breakfast CL
8am park open
Jungle cruise
Aladdin
Pirates
Tom Sawyer island (if time permits and if kids need to burn off steam)
Splash mountain FP
Peter Pan FP
1235 skippers ADR
Enchanted tales with belle FP
Depending on kids moods and the heat we may try for more rides/shows, gift shops, or Mickey on way out but late afternoon head back to resort to swim, watch fireworks from resort

SUPER early flight next morning

Thoughts? We are not huge eaters especially in heat, and will probably snack throughout the day or book a random last minute ADR if we need to eat a hearty meal

Given the age of your kids, I'm not sure Skiipper's Canteen is going to be the best choice unless they are very non-picky. We loved it but we tend to eat more exotic than plain. Even though the kids aren't big eaters, I'm not sure just one meal outside of CL is going to be enough but since you have some breaks built in you can always grab a CS meal, Poly has a pretty good QS restaurant. Please be warned that the park hours are a moving target and rope drop can move. I always tell people to plan for regular park hours, which I think are opening at 9 am if you find the hours move to earlier, it's a bonus and you can go to rope drop at the earlier hour and get a couple more rides in.

I should of mentioned we will do CS as needed, pool bar food etc. we don't want to be soooo stuffed from a meal that we can't enjoy the vacation extras. Personally I want dole whip, gaston cinnamon roll, etc. Kids are pretty adventurous eaters.

I'm super anti backtracking so I wouldn't leave fantasyland to go back to skippers canteen (and then back again). Just my opinion though.

On day 1 I would do pooh and little mermaid first since those are the most likely to get backed up later. And I think that morning is tight if you want to get to BOG 10-15 minutes early. I think it's possible but it leaves no wiggle room. My son could spend 20 minutes playing in the dumbo waiting area!!

I recommend getting to the park by 8:15. We typically bring something with us to eat while waiting.

If you fastpass Peter Pan you'll miss the interactive queue, which is actually better than the ride. I would move it to the first thing on your first day and change the fastpass to something else.

Day 2 start with Pooh. It's slow loading and the line builds fairly fast. On Day 3 I would do Pirates before Aladdin. Forty-five minutes prior to opening is a good rule of thumb. The largest number of people arrive less than 30 minutes before rope drop. Often people are held behind the turnstiles. The early arrival gets you through the turnstiles and bag check and puts you in a good position to get spot for the opening show or position yourself to get to attractions faster. We usually have granola bars or beignets to eat and apply sunscreen while waiting.

The early arrival gets you through the turnstiles and bag check and puts you in a good position to get spot for the opening show or position yourself to get to attractions faster.

Is that an either/or proposition? Can you be in a good spot to watch the welcome show and still get to an attraction quickly? And where is the best spot to be for the show?

If you're heading straight to the Mine Train, it might behoove you to line up right at the gates. Most people will head that way for the time being. You can shorten your wait by 20-25 minutes.

If, like us, you are heading to PP or pretty much any much any other attraction (I'm assuming A&E are in Epcot) it won't impact you much at all. You can get to PP, probably the next fastest building line, without much of a wait.
