First time at Universal

So you think 10 days is over kill? To tell you the truth that is good news to me….lol..So you think 3 days at Disney and 2 at UO would be good?

Well after a few days at looking at all this we all have decided to just go to Disneyland this time, i really wanted to see UO. But we have 3 kids under 2 and the rest are all under 10 and those 12 hour travel days is nothing any of us are looking forward too. We use to be able to get to Orlando with no stops in 6 hours from Oregon, now its over 8 and no non stop flights. We live two hours from the airport also. So its like two of the ten days we are doing nothing but travel and still have to pay for a room. Disneyland is 2 hours direct flights that leaves every hour from Portland to LA….We can do Disneyland in 5 days Mon. threw Fri….I see lots more value for your buck at Disneyworld & UO but maybe in a few years? Thank you all for all the help, now I'm jumping to Disneyland forum.

Soma151........hope you and your family have a wonderful trip to Disneyland.......UO will still be there in a few years.......:)

I think you made the right decision! Take the kids to UO when they're older (at 10 they should be able to ride everything. My nephew is 8 and could do most things)

To add to my comment from earlier we did the 3 days at UO and the magic kingdom and epcot back to back for a total of 5 days. Hello exhaustion lol
My nephews are 8 and 10 and you could tell they needed like a day break between each park. They started to melt down mid week.
