This will be my first time at MNSSHP and I am so excited -- I cannot wait to get our tickets as soon as they go on sale! I do have a few questions. :confused3

What time are you able to get into the park when you are attending the Halloween Party -- And when you get into the Park, are you able to immediately start riding the rides? Are most of the rides open? Also, we can only afford a few days at Disney and a few days at Universal -- Since I will be going to MK for the Halloween Party, do I also need to go a full day besides that (MK is my favorite park)? :cheer2:

Thank you!!!!!!

I would think you'd want to go for another day yes. Most of the rides are open (I think I read not all of them though?), and you are usually (past years) allowed to enter at 4pm, but we'll be busy getting villain autographs, watching the parade and fireworks and dancing with characters, so there might not be time to do everything you'd want to do in a "normal day".

I'm sure the nice posters here will correct any errors I made....I just saw your lonely post. :) Happy planning!

Just saw your ticker...maybe we'll see you there? ;) Oct 17th for us...

Thank you so much! Yes, I think we are going to plan an entire day at MK and do Chef Mickey for breakfast first! I believe we are doing the Halloween Party that Tuesday (10/19) -- We are thinking about going as Toy Story Characters -- Maybe you will see us there! :woohoo:

I LOVE MNSSHP!!!!!! I've been with my twin sister 2 times. The first time we dressed as Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum and the 2nd time we went as Mickey & Minnie :)
Anyway, I know park hours for MK on days on the MNSSHP are shorter in order to accomodate the ticket holders for the event and in order to set up for the party. I think both times my sister and I went in at 7. That about the time they have the 1st Boo to You parade of the night and then right after they have Hallowishes. Since MK is ur favorite park and u have young children, I agree, I would do a full day as well. The MNSSHP is a totally different experience then the traditional magical day at the MK. At MNSSHP u almost feel like ur in a different park, not the MK. It is great as far as getting on the rides tho. So if u plan another day at the MK u won't have to run around the park trying to get on the rides, u can take it at a more leisurely pace since u will be able to get on the bigger (long line) attractions at MNSSHP. HAVE FUN! I'm so jealous, I wanna go again! haha:wizard:

You'll be able to get in at 4pm with your party ticket. It's serious fun! Last year we spent the morning at MK, had a late lunch ADR, back to the hotel for a swim break and shower and headed back before 7pm. You won't believe what a different experience it'll be in the park during the party!
The events won't actually start until around 7:30pm as they are very strict on non party guests taking part in the festivities. They won't even be allowed to shop after 7pm.
